Michael Penn, “No Myth”
Currently the only musical instruments in my possession are an acoustic guitar, a cheap Casio keyboard purchased by my dad in the mid-80s (still works!) and a drum machine. While I usually joke that I plan to record some Sugar Ray homages, if I go further back it’s clear I’m subconsciously yearning to recreate this early cassingle purchase.
I promise not to post anything more from 1989 today.
