Camper Van Beethoven, “Pictures of Matchstick Men”
Caught this late at night at a slumber party in 4th grade. Didn’t know who it was until 6th or so (the library had a copy of Key Lime Pie). Found out it was a semi-ironic cover of a psychedelic hit a little after that, and bought a used cassette of the album in high school. Goofy late ’80s videos were my gateway into hipsterdom.
