Grifters, “Last Man Alive”
One of my ambitions in life is to help this song gain prominent placement in a hit movie, giving it a new cultural presence and tricking kids into thinking it was actually a fluke hit alongside “Natural One,” “Camel Walk” and “Pepper” in that mid-’90s moment. Apparently they try to do this with Teenage Fanclub’s “The Concept” in Young Adult, and I approve.
