Despite the joint facts that I watched this show every day of my childhood and that I am a SKETCH COMEDY WRITER, it never occured to me until now that this was a sketch show.

Woah, I watched this show all the time as a kid, but I never put it together that Reg E. Cathey was in the cast! You may recognize him as the homeless dude who gets stabbed in American Psycho, Dirty Dee in Pootie Tang, or Mayor Carcetti’s advisor Norman Wilson on The Wire.
Not to mention Larry Cedar (redheaded dude directly above the 7), brilliant as the two-faced junkie Leon from Deadwood! I too watched this as a kid and couldn’t watch Deadwood without thinking about Square One.
